The PaperPort Links listed in this section work exactly the same as those Links that appear as icons on the SendTo Bar at the bottom of the PaperPort 11 Desktop or you can scan directly through these Links using the PaperPort ScanDirect feature. When you download and install these Links with PaperPort 11 you may drag & drop or scan your documents directly to network services often referred to as document management systems, file servers or file transfer services.
The YouSendIt Link for PaperPort 11 is a free, secure and easy way to share very large files via the Web using the YouSendIt service. It's as easy as e-mailing an attachment without the hassle of encountering e-mail attachment limitations, clogged e-mail boxes, unreliable FTP servers and overnight shipping charges associated with sending large files to recipients. Simply drag-and-drop or ScanDirect any file with the YouSendIt Link to start.
The WedDav and ODMA Links provided below are general interface links that support a broad range of document management systems. These include systems such as Interwoven®, Hummingbird®, EMC Documentum® and FileNet® to name a few. Check with the vendor of your specific service to see if they work with either WebDav or ODMA.
In order to use the PaperPort Links you must have a copy PaperPort 11 already installed. These specific links are not supported on other versions of PaperPort and they will not run independently of PaperPort. Once you have downloaded any of these Links and installed them, simply launch PaperPort and a new icon will appear on the SendTo Bar at the bottom of the PaperPort Desktop or on the ScanDirect LinkBar that will allow you to send the file to the network service or content management system.
